MD30 Collaborative Palletizing Robot — 30 kg Payload, 5-Axis
Palletizing without programming. The MD30 is a 5-axis collaborative palletizing robot that replaces repetitive manual stacking at the end of the line. It lifts 30 kg per pick, reaches 1900 mm, repeats to ±0.5 mm, and is set up entirely from parameters on an 8-inch touch pendant: pick point, transition point, layer pattern, start. No offline programming, no script language, no coordinate-frame calibration, no integrator on site.
Built for the palletizing jobs still done by hand
Most end-of-line stacking in food, beverage, daily chemical, paper, 3PL and e-commerce plants is still manual work — 8 to 12 cartons a minute, two or three shifts a day, with lifting injuries and staff turnover acting as a permanent tax on the line. The MD30 does that work at the same rate or better, runs around the clock, and does not call in sick.
Why factories choose the MD30
- No programming — one-point calibration. Set the pick point, the transition point and the layer pattern, then press start. A new product takes about 5 minutes; a complete machine is commissioned in about 1 hour. Ordinary operators can run it, so you do not need a robot engineer on the payroll.
- 8–12 cartons per minute, up to 24 with multi-pick. Single-pick mode stacks 8–12 cartons per minute with a vacuum gripper; enabling multi-pick (two cartons per cycle) raises this to 12–24 cartons per minute — roughly a 100% throughput gain with no extra hardware. Clamp-gripper applications run at 6–8 pieces per minute, and the machine is rated for continuous 24-hour operation.
- Safety radar and safety door, no fence required. A safety radar stops the robot the moment a person enters the field; a safety door interlock stops it when the guard is opened. Both resume automatically once the area is clear. Emergency stop and power loss use zero-slide braking, and the controller enforces world-coordinate soft limits plus configurable non-safe-zone cubes that raise an alarm and an output signal on entry.
- A 6 m² footprint that drops into an existing bay. Floor-mounted, no lift column, no pit, no civil works. The MD30 fits the end-of-line space you already have — which is what makes it viable in low-clearance buildings and upper-floor plants.
- Recipe library with unlimited pallet patterns. Store every carton size your line runs as its own recipe, build layer patterns visually, search recipes by number, and encrypt the ones that must not be edited. Changing product is changing recipe.
- One-click configuration cloning. Export the full configuration and import it into the next machine for an exact 1:1 clone. Rolling out ten lines becomes a copy operation instead of ten commissioning projects.
- 2D and 3D live pallet monitoring. The pendant renders the running stack in both 2D layer view and 3D, so operators see exactly what has been placed without walking to the pallet.
- Vacuum-loss detection that recovers, not just stops. If a carton is lost during pick or placement, the controller prompts on screen and pauses the cycle; three consecutive losses escalate the message for a maintenance check. The robot resumes where it stopped — no lost stack, no re-teaching.

Applications
Food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and daily chemical, household goods, paper and printing, metal products, building materials, 3PL warehousing and e-commerce fulfilment — anywhere cartons, bags, blocks, buckets or panels are stacked onto pallets. A vacuum pad or sponge vacuum pad handles standard cases; a mechanical clamp is used for bags and low-porosity surfaces.
Commissioning, training and support
The MD30 ships with an 8-inch touch pendant in English, Chinese, Russian and Korean, a parameter-driven setup guide, drag-teach and tool-calibration routines, alarm-handling tables and a preventive-maintenance reminder. Remote commissioning support and a spare-parts channel are available for export customers. Core components combine a self-developed motion controller with tier-1 servo, gearbox, linear guide, power supply, pneumatic and electrical parts.
